Cartier opens Culture of Design pop-up in Sydney
French luxury Jeweler Cartier has opened a pop-up in Sydney honoring its most iconic collections of archival jewelry and accessories.
Titled ‘The Culture of Design’, the new space is located at 74 Castlereagh St, Sydney, and offers a one-off retail experience with an exhibition of some of the most iconic jewellery and watch designs in history, including: The Tank, Trinity, Juste un Clou, Santos de Cartier, Love, Panthere or Ballon Bleu.
The pop-up is a celebration of unmatched creation through an immersive experience where visitors are taken back in time to discover the historical significance behind each design. Each of the collections on exhibition are based on four main principles of creation: the purity of the line, the accuracy of the shape, the precision of proportions, the precious details. Contemporary, although vintage to some, these designs stand the test of time: classic, eternal, essential. Distinguished by it’s intricate attention to detail, they remain a hallmark of the Maison.
‘Cartier is a pioneering house, in constant creative exploration. The Culture of Design demonstrates the Maison’s ability to create designs that stand the test of time, objects that are at once immediately recognizable and bear witness to the past. With this new pop up, we celebrate a unique collection of creations that have earned a place in the history of jewelry and watchmaking, and in the hearts of our clients,’ said Alban du Mesnil, Cartier Oceania Managing Director.
Cartier’s The Culture of Design pop up is open now until June 2023.
