Kenzo releases First Limited-edition Capsule by Nigo
French luxury fashion house Kenzo has unveiled the first part of a series of capsule collections imagined by its brand new artistic director, Nigo.
First presented in Paris during Fall Winter 22, the collection comprises of sweatshirts, long-sleeved T-shirts, a jersey cardigan, trousers, a skirt (inspired by Gurkha military clothing) and nylon coach jackets. Each of the pieces features a floral graphic inspired by the boke, a Japanese quince bush that blooms in February as well as a brand new logo.
Nigo who took over the role from Felipe Oliviera Baptista is the first Japanese designer to front the house since founder Kenzo Takada left the house in 1999. Kenzo aims to start a new era with the Japanese streetwear designer and will also release a limited edition of 100 NFT’s that unlock exclusive access into the world of the brand.
The Kenzo Boke Flower capsule by Nigo will be available in a limited edition from February 5, 2022 in a selection of stores and on kenzo.com. Three additional drops are planned for release later this spring.
