Bottega Veneta launches Bottega For Bottegas initiative
Italian label Bottega Veneta has launched a new initiative over the Holiday season to promote the work of fellow Italian artisans.
Aptly titled ‘Bottega For Bottegas’ the project was born out of a desire to share the love for Italian artisans and to support their craft. 12 Italian bottegas (Italian for boutiques) that represent the best of Italian creativity and excellence have been selected for the series.
This year’s participating brands and their products include: Enzo Fasano (ceramics), Orsoni (mosaics), Gay-Odin (chocolates), Ginepraio (gin), Krumiri Rossi (biscuits), Cantina Bisson (wine), Amatruda (paper), Saponificio Varesino (soap), Respighi Drums (drums), Riso Pozzi (rice), Olio Vanini (olive oil) and Pastificio Martelli (pasta).
‘We are thrilled to launch Bottega for Bottegas alongside Italian artisans with whom we share the common values of creativity and craftsmanship. We are proud to offer worldwide visibility to these “Bottegas” that are deeply rooted in Italian culture, specially at a time where smaller entities continue to be impacted by the pandemic. It is with honor that we have passed on our advertising spaces, website, newsletters, and store windows and we hope that this will further highlight their excellence at a global level,’ Bartolomeo Rongone, CEO of Bottega Veneta, said in a press release.
Throughout the holiday season the product offerings from these wonderful establishments will be showcased on Bottega Veneta’s website and at select stores in Milan, Rome, and Venice. Customers shopping online are redirected to the online stores of each bottega to shop. The initiative isn’t just a one time campaign and Bottega Veneta will continue the tradition every year with a new collection of Italian products and artisans to shop.
