Louis Vuitton launches its first Unisex Sneaker
Luxury French fashion house Louis Vuitton has launched its first ever eco-friendly unisex eco-responsible sneaker.
Titled ‘Charlie’ the limited-edition shoe comes in low and high-top styles and features the LV logo on the side. Keeping in line with Louis Vuitton’s continuing commitment to sustainable practices the shoes comprise of 90 percent recycled and bio sourced materials. The soles are made of 94 per cent recycled rubber while the back, tongue patch, and LV logo are made with Econyl regenerated nylon constructed from nylon waste.
Made at the Louis Vuitton Shoe Manufacturede Fiesso d’Artico in Italy, in sizes 34 to 47 they offer mobility and comfort. Furthermore, the shoebox is also made up of recycled cardboard, and which can double up as a bag.
Priced at 1,080 and 1,130 USD the Louis Vuitton Charlie sneaker will launch on November 12, 2021 on louisvuitton.com and all Louis Vuitton boutique stores.
