Ruslan Baginskiy opens first Paris Pop-Up Store
Kyiv-based headwear designer Ruslan Baginskiy has opened his first ever Pop-Up Store in Paris.
Located in the heart of the fashion capital at Rue de la Sourdiere on the first floor of the indie Paradise Garage, the pop-up was inspired by Baginskiy’s childhood memories of vacations at the Black Sea (in Crimea and near Odessa). He flew in 10 people from his team and a ton of sand from Ukraine for the event to showcase the brands’ current summer collection.
The store features a beach getaway and sand dunes on the ground floor, while the display case has a RB logo made of straw. In addition, the current collection was on display all around the perimeter of the store.
Models Natalia Vodianova, Sasha Luss and Loli Bahia, Gossip Girl actress Kelly Rutherford, singer and actress Soko, creative director Patou Guillaume Henri, actress Emmanuelle Bear, actor Nicolas Maury, musician Dima Monatic, Harper’s Bazaar Russia editor-in-chief Daria Veledeeva, Vogue Russia contributor Yulia Arfush-Lobova, stylist Ashley Weston and many more were in attendance.
‘It has been too long time since we met. After a year and a half we are beyond excited to meet our friends again, to raise a glass to our reunion and to the first RB Pop Up store in Paris,’ said Baginskiy.
Baginskiy’s Resort 2022 Collection will go on sale worldwide in December.
