Rubah Abu Nima is Tiffany & Co’s new Creative Director
Tiffany & Co has appointed Rubah Abu Nima as its new creative director.
The announcement comes nearly 2 months after chief artistic director Reed Krakoff’s exit, following LVMH Moet Hennessy’s 15.8 billion USD acquisition of the American luxury jeweler.
While little is known about Rouba Abu Nima’s position at this time, according to WWD, Abu-Nimah will report directly to Alexandre Arnault, the brand’s Executive Vice President of Product and Communications but her role will not be involved in product development and will focus on driving the creative vision at Tiffany.
A graduate of Parsons School of Design in the late ’80s, she began her career in the publishing industry with ELLE Paris, followed by French Glamour. In 2017 she became the first female creative director of Elle US. She has also worked extensively in the beauty industry and was Global Creative Director at Revlon (prior to joining Tiffany), Global Creative Director for Shiseido in Japan and also Bobbi Brown Cosmetics (Estee Lauder). She has also been hired by Phillip Lim, Steidl Publishing, and Nike for her creative and brand image expertise.
