Model of the Week: Hanna Lenzing
Each week, we take the time to highlight one of our favorite emerging models. Previously, we profiled Karolina Egersdorfova and this week we’re turning our attention to Hamburg native Hanna Lenzing. With a strong work ethic, and a positive attitude she is definitely a model to keep an eye on. We caught with her to talk about her career so far, her passion for modeling and her plans for the future.

How were you scouted?
I went into the agency and introduced myself, so I guess I just applied.
How would you describe yourself as a model in three words?
Disciplined, friendly and open.
What is your favorite or most exciting aspect about being a model?
You are a part of creating art and seeing the results and what fashion, make up and photography can do is amazing.
What is your dream shoot/campaign?
I would love to be on the cover of a big magazine.
Biggest lesson that modelling has taught you?
Everything works better when you are confident and believe in yourself. Positivity is always helpful.
What’s the best life advice you’ve ever received?
It is always okay to take time for yourself and for the things that make you feel happy. Working hard is great and important, but not without balance.
How do you stay in shape?
I really love mixing up my workouts. Sometimes I do Pilates and other times I train with weights or go for a walk. It is so much easier to stay motivated when you have fun.
What do you think about fashion? What does it mean to you?
I think fashion is so important for expressing yourself and I really love it. With fashion you can show different moods and I always feel so confident if I am wearing an outfit I love. Also, it can be anything you want it to be, it’s great how individual it is. Fashion makes you feel strong!
If you had to be head to toe in one designer brand for the rest of your life, which would it be?
Dior or Yves Saint Laurent, I can’t decide.
How would you describe your style?
That is a good question. It is probably like my taste in music – all over the place. It really depends on how I feel and sometimes I just see looks I get inspired by. What is important to me, is to wear what I like and that always changes.
Denim or leather?
Love the look of both, but probably denim. You can never go wrong with a good pair of jeans!
Heels or flats?
Definitely flats, preferably sneakers.
Vintage or contemporary fashion?
Both! I feel like old trends are often coming back, which is so cool to see. But also, vintage denim is just amazing…
What is your guilty pleasure?
I am obsessed with Chinese food…
What’s been your most indulgent purchase since you became a model?
I just have a little shopping addiction; I always buy new clothes.
If you were an emoji, which would you be and why?
Probably that smiling face wearing glasses. It just matches so many situations and I like to make that face sometimes.
When you’re not busy modeling, what are some of your favorite things to do?
Listening to music, working out, watching Netflix and seeing my friends.
