Jill Kortleve becomes Zara’s first curvy campaign model
Jill Kortleve has written history by becoming the first curvy model to star in a Zara campaign.
The 25-year-old Dutch model thanked Zara in an Instagram post of herself wearing an oversized, double-breasted blazer. ‘Thanks Zara, for choosing me as the very first curvy model for your website,’ she captioned the pic.
Kortleve is no stranger to the fashion industry and is a source of inspiration for many by embracing her curves instead of meeting the size requirements of the fashion industry. Earlier this year she was seen among others in the Spring/Summer ’19 campaign of Alexander McQueen, H & M and has also starred in campaigns for Rihanna’s Fenty Beauty which values body positivity and diversity.
With the tapping of Kortleve for its campaign, Zara continues its process of change.
