Franca Sozzani’s wardrobe goes on sale at Yoox
Italian online fashion retailer Yoox has unveiled the ‘Franca Sozzani Private Collection’ for sale.
The collection consisting of 397 ready-to-wear as well as haute couture designs and 190 accessories from an array of designers and labels: Prada, Miu Miu, Valentino, Yohji Yamamoto, Lanvin, Marni, and more.
Donated by her son, filmmaker and photographer Francesco Carrozzini the pieces have been divided and organized into five categories/themes that reflect the imagination and multi-faceted personality of Franca Sozzani: The Eclectic, The Black Tale, The Unconventional, The Londoner, and The Dream Dimension. Proceeds from the sale will be donated to the Franca Sozzani Fund for Preventive Genomics at Bringham Women’s Hospital.
Alongside the sale, Carrozzini released an intimate biography of his mother, Franca: Chaos and Creation, published by Assouline is also available on Yoox.
