Lady Gaga is launching her own make-up line
Lady Gaga’s rumored forthcoming cosmetics and skincare line, Haus Beauty quietly launched a website over the festive season.
For now, it is just a blank site where users are encouraged to sign up to receive further info with no further information on the beauty line. Rumors of Gaga’s own makeup line began last May when observant fans noticed that the company called Ate My Heart Inc. (of which Gaga is owner) had applied for a trademark for the name ‘Haus Beauty’ for cosmetics, perfume, and skin care.
Although the name for Gaga’s beauty brand has been registered and the website has gone live, it may be that we have to wait a while for the official launch of Haus Beauty. Such was also the case with Rihanna, who applied for the trademark for Fenty Beauty in 2014 but only actually launched the make-up line in 2017.
Haus Beauty is not Gaga’s first foray into the world of beauty. In the past, the singer launched her own perfume, called Fame, and in 2012, she launched the fragrance Lady Gaga Fame with Coty. She has also been a model for MAC’s Viva Glam campaigns in 2009 and 2011 to raise money for AIDS research.
2018 was a very successful year for Gaga who not only had her first leading role in the much-talked-about film A Star Is Born, with the song ‘Shallow’ receiving multiple Grammy nominations but also launched ‘Enigma,’ her Las Vegas concert residency.
