Model of the Week: Meghan Roche
Agency: Women Management
Nationality: American
Each week, we take the time to highlight one of our favorite emerging models. Last week, we profiled Australian beauty Aleyna FitzGerald this week we’ve decided to feature Meghan Roche.
The 18-year-old Pennsylvanian is a self-described tomboy and played soccer as well as volleyball. Growing up she never anticipated on getting into the fashion world and signed with Women Management when she was only 15. However, she didn’t start modeling until 2017 as her agency was waiting for her to transition from a regular school environment to an online school so that she could travel and work full-time.
Meghan’s first two gigs were a Givenchy campaign photographed by Steven Meisel and walking as an exclusive for the house’s spring/summer 2018 show. She also walked as a runway model for the Dolce and Gabbana Spring and Summer Fashion Show in 2018 and the Roberto Cavalli Spring and Summer Fashion Show at Milan Fashion Week. This past season she has walked for all the major houses including Versace, Fendi, Chanel, Saint Laurent, Ralph Lauren, and Alexander Wang.
Currently residing in New York, Meghan is a great admirer of Karl Lagerfeld’s work and considers Natalia Vodianova and Gisele Bundchen as her role models. With one fashion season under her belt, Meghan is sure to appear on many more runways in the future. Having captivated the hearts of some pretty major fashion houses, there’s no doubt that this teenage beauty’s career is on the come-up.
Check out Meghan’s profile here and check back next week to find out who our next ‘Model of the Week’ is.
