Audrey Marnay collaborates with Causse
French model and actress Audrey Marnay has collaborated with Parisian glovemaker Causse to design three pairs of winter gloves.
Combining chic and femininity, the three pairs were inspired by the timeless elegance of Audrey Hepburn and consist of classic leather gloves, XL mittens lined in cashmere with a lambskin exterior and a cuff at the wrist and smartphone-friendly driving gloves.
Marnay took part in the entire process of creating gloves, from the patterns to the finishes and the choice of materials and colors and was invited to Causse’s workshops to work hand-in-hand with the glove artisans. ‘For these models, I was inspired by the timeless chic of Audrey Hepburn, one of my references of style, and I wanted to offer women gloves that meet their everyday desires – they can wear to length day, even with their jewelry,’ said Marnay in a statement.
The gloves are available in three shades: powder pink, petrol blue, and fir green at the Parisian boutique of Causse Gantier located at 12, rue de Castiglione (Paris 1st).
