Alexander McQueen launches new oversized sneaker model
Alexander McQueen has launched a new shoe line called ‘Oversized Runners’.
The new line is part of the Autumn-Winter 2018 collection and is an updated version of the oversized sneaker. The sneaker looks like an overly large running shoe and is sportier with a coarse sole and streamlined silhouette. At the heart of the design are clean lines, deliberately exaggerated proportions and bright contrasting shades.
The Runner is available in ten different designs, including clean white leather with red, green and black. There is also a patchwork version of black or brown suede with mesh with the rubber sole decorated with a proprietary leopard pattern and the Alexander McQueen logo.
The Oversized Runner was shown for the first time during the Autumn / Winter 2018 men’s show but is available in both female and male sizes. The shoes are now available in stores worldwide and various online stores.
