Ashley Graham designs capsule collection for Marina Rinaldi
Ashley Graham has designed a capsule collection for Marina Rinaldi.
The collection will consist of shirts, dresses, strapless jumpsuits, motorcycle jackets and body-hugging pants that form a feminine look that is natural, original and individualistic. It is largely made from luxury denim developed using the most advanced materials to ensure comfort.
This is a major milestone for Graham who has been working as the face of the brand up until now and most recently fronted its autumn / winter campaign 2017/18. ‘We thought it was a good idea to reinforce this [commitment] with this new role as a designer,’ Lynne Webber, managing director of Marina Rinaldi remarked. ‘Ashley is a super positive role model with a vast following on social media. The capsule is centered on Ashley as a typical consumer, there is an identification with her.’
The Ashley Graham x Marina Rinaldi collection will be unveiled on September 22 at the brand’s fashion show in Milan and will be rolled out in January.
