Alexa Chung Poses for Mario Testino’s Towel Series
Alexa Chung recently posed for Mario Testino’s famous Towel Series.
The 33-year-old British stylicone is the 137th face that the legendary fashion photographer shot against a white background. Chung poses sideways to the camera, sporting a white bathrobe loosely hanging around her body, while on her head she wears a white turban-style towel.
Chung shared her delight in being included in the latest series in an Instagram post with the caption ‘Thank you, Mario Testino for including me in your Towel Series.’
The image came into being after a photoshoot for the cover of the June edition of British Vogue, for which Testino shot Alexa. She joins the ranks of celebrities such as Selena Gomez, Gigi Hadid, Emily Ratajkowski as well as the Hollywood stars Sienna Miller and Blake Lively who have all posed for the fanous series of pictures.
Testino’s ‘Towel Series’ began with a spontaneous photo of Supermodel Kate Moss, shortly after she came out of the shower with nothing but a towel on her head and a bathrobe.
