Lady Gaga is the Face of Tiffany’s New HardWare Collection. The pop singer spins the glamor of old Hollywood in the brands’ 2017 spring / summer campaign, whist joining the ranks ofstars such as Lupita Nyong’o and Elle Fanning who have been the face of the 180 year old brand.
The new collection includes jewelery that is imbued with the soul of New York. Inspired by an archival unisex bracelet in 1971, the collection was designed to embody the strength and the spirit of the modern woman. With its bold 18k gold and sterling silver pieces, Tiffany HardWear is a study in the purity of design.
The collection features gold and sterling silver ball-and-chain-inspired necklaces, bracelets, and rings. The price range varies between $400-$9,500. Standout pieces include triple drop earrings, available in 18k gold for $2,500 and a winding bracelet, available in 18 carat gold and sterling silver, at $9,500.
In the campaign images lensed by David Sims and styled by Vogue’s creative director Grace Coddington, the eccentric singer is completely dressed in black, her blond hair tied to a smooth knot at the back of her neck – and a bracelet with a pendant and long statement earrings.
‘I love Tiffany HardWear because it’s different and elegant – but it’s not what you would expect of elegance. That’s like me I think-I’m a bit different,’ said Lady Gaga in a statement. ‘To me, Tiffany is definitive and iconic, yet continues to push and evolve with the times.’
‘For more than 180 years, the world’s chicest women have chosen Tiffany jewelry as a powerful expression of who they are,’ said Caroline Naggiar, chief brand officer of Tiffany & Co. ‘This campaign celebrates Tiffany’s rich legacy and the modernity of Tiffany style. Lady Gaga, and her originality, creativity and courage, reflects the spirit of this collection.’
Tiffany & Co. officially launched the elegant jewelry on May 10, 2017 with a big event in East London with illustrious guests such as models Edie Campbell and Daisy Lowe as well as a surprise performance by TLC singer Rozonda Thomas, ‘Chilli’.
The Tiffany Hard Wear Collection which is part of the ‘Legendary Style’ campaign is available online at http://www.tiffany.com/ and in the stores of the jewelry house.
