Who or what inspired you to become a model?
The first time I was thinking about becoming a model was when I started with the casting show GNTM.
What is your favorite or most exciting aspect about being a model?
Traveling and meeting new interesting people.
Out of all the places your career has taken you, where was the most memorable?
Every place I have been to was memorable.
What was the hardest photo shoot for you, and why?
One time we had an underwater shooting somewhere in the Pacific Ocean. It was fun but I was a little bit scared in the beginning haha.
What tips and advice do you have for aspiring models just starting out, something you wish someone would have told you?
Always be yourself and do what you feel comfortable with! This business can be hard sometimes. For me it was really tough sometimes. Agencies always told me to lose weight and for me it was very hard because I always had curves. But now I am with Wilhelmina curve and I am so happy about it! I feel very comfortable in my body now and can be myself. I love my curves! So everyone who has curves: Embrace them!!!
Would you share some of your future goals, your life motto, any words of wisdom that get you by in life and professional career?
My Motto was and always will be: Never give up! Always believe in yourself! If you really want something you have to fight for it. And be kind to everyone!
When and how did you decide to take part in the show?
A friend in school told me to try it. So she helped me doing pictures and videos. It was more for fun. I never thought that I will come that far. I was a baby and so shy but then I was at the casting and they chose me.
What was your favorite moment during the show?
We had lot of awesome moments! All our shootings were different and so much fun. As an example we had a shooting with Rankin in New York on the streets with fake rain. Or we had a wedding shooting in Las Vegas or we had a video shooting where we had to dance like a rock star.
How did your modeling-career evolve after you finished GNTM?
After GNTM a lot of people knew me in Germany and I remember that Heidi Klum told me to keep modeling. So after the show I finished my school and then i started working as a model.
What do you enjoy doing when you are not working?
I love being with my family and friends. I get homesick very fast.
Who are your favorite fashion designers?
I don’t have a favorite fashion designer at the moment. I buy clothes everywhere.
What are your best beauty secrets?
Always clean your face in the morning and evening. And overnight I use natural oil for my face. In the morning my face is so soft like a baby face.
How do you stay in shape?
I love dancing and boxing and I like to go hiking.
Where do you see yourself in ten years?
To be honest I have no idea yet.
Do people act differently around you since you’ve become a model?
In school people did. After Germanys Next Topmodel it was not that easy sometimes.
What would you ask yourself that we haven’t asked you in this interview?
Hmm good question. Maybe what is your favorite food haha.
