Dakota Fanning fronts Jimmy Choo Spring Fashion Shoot
Dakota Fanning has teamed up with Jimmy Choo for a style diary in honor of the spring/summer 2017 season.
Set against the rustic backdrop of Los Angeles Arboretum and Botanic Gardens nestled into the hills near the San Gabriel Mountains, the 23 year old Hollywood actress showcases her favourite pieces of the Jimmy Choo SS 17 collection to hit stores.
With open, wavy hair wrapped and a girlish white lace dress, Fanning can be seen in a series of images in which she models the miami trainer and the finley bag, the gem sunglasses and the maya sandal, the montie sunglasses, lanta sandals & lockett petite bag and the kathleen sandals, lucy pump and lockett minaudiere clutch.
‘Dakota has such a nuanced and sophisticated understanding of fashion,’ said Sandra Choi, creative director at Jimmy Choo. ‘Unafraid to push boundaries and wear something unexpected. I love seeing someone explore fashion with such maturity and self-assuredness.‘
In addition to the ethereal shoot, Fanning also gave an interview with the luxury label in which she spoke about her earliest fashion memories.
‘My earliest fashion memory was clomping around in my aunt’s heels, while visiting her in Miami. I was probably around two years old and insisted on wearing them with absolutely everything the entire trip!,’ she said.
Fanning is also no stranger to the world of Jimmy Choo. ‘To me the brand is absolutely iconic,’ she explained, ‘I’ve worn Jimmy Choos too many times to count, because they can make a statement, but also seamlessly fit in with many different looks.’
