Kate Moss stars in Elvis Presley Tribute video
Kate Moss celebrates her love of rock ‘n’ roll in the new video for Elvis Presley’s hit song ‘The Wonder of You’.
The iconic supermodel channels her inner Elvis as she croons and lip syncs to the King of Rock ‘n’ Roll. British music videos and television commercials director Vaughan Arnell, conceptualized the video after discovering a striking resemblance between Moss’ most famous fashion shots and classic Elvis Presley images.
Shot at London’s iconic Abbey Road Studios, at the beginning of the clip Moss appears in a zippered leather jumpsuit inspired by the star’s ‘1968 Comeback Special’ outfit. Later, she is seen in a variety of poses and outfits from reclining on a vintage sofa, an embroidered denim shirt and a sequined jumpsuit, to leaning over a grand piano in a sequined top and leather mini shorts.
‘I was so excited to be asked to be involved in this project,’ Moss said in a press release. ‘Anything for Elvis.’
‘The Wonder of You’ is the first original music video of an Elvis Presley track produced in this decade. Taken from the album ‘The Wonder Of You: Elvis Presley With The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra’, it features Elvis’s most dramatic live performances against the backdrop of new arrangements performed by the orchestra. It is a follow-up to last year’s million-unit-selling I Can Dream: Elvis Presley With The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, which debuted at No. 1 in the UK Album Charts.
