Kaia Gerber Is the New Face of Marc Jacobs Beauty
Kaia Gerber has landed her first beauty campaign as the new face of Marc Jacobs Beauty.
The 15-year-old daughter of Cindy Crawford was shot by photographer David Sims with hair by Guido Palau and make-up by Diane Kendal. In the first campaign image released Gerber looks ethereal as she channels a throwback ’80s vibe with crimped red hair, dramatic teal eyeliner and mixed, colored animal prints.
‘I’m so excited and honored that my first beauty campaign is with Marc Jacobs, an icon in the fashion industry,’ Gerber told Allure in an interview. ‘I’m obsessed with his beauty products, and like everything else he does, Marc Jacobs Beauty makes you feel feminine and playful.’
In addition to the campaign images an accompanying film is to be produced by 2017.
