Emily Blunt is British Vogue’s November Cover Girl
Emily Blunt makes her debut as British Vogue’s cover girl.
The ‘Girl on the train’ actress graces the November issue of the magazine, which features ‘real women’ on its pages for the first time ever.
Lensed by Josh Olins, she poses in a flowered Dolce & Gabbana high-necked dress, her blond hair blowing in the wind. In her interview Blunt who has carved out a reputation in her career for playing ‘protagonists that women can really relate to’, talks candidly to Marisa Meltzer about playing ‘a character far away from any kind of idealized Hollywood heroine.
‘It’s a very good thing that we keep talking about the issue. It’s a conversation that needs to continue. Although I would prefer that we actually go in a direction of producing and creating more jobs for women in the film industry as opposed to talking about it,’ she said.
Vogue Uk’s ‘Real Women’ issue is a model free one whose subjects are academics and businesswomen whose professions that have nothing to do with fashion.
