The 2016 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show To Be Held In Paris
The Victoria’s Secret fashion show is heading to Paris for its 2016 edition.
Marking the first time the famed lingerie show takes place in the French capital, this year’s festivities will see the angels descend on the City of Light in all of their splendor. The brand officially announced the news in a teaser video on Monday in which models receive text messages telling them to pack their bags before learning that they’ll be traveling to Paris for the annual fashion extravaganza.
The all-star line-up of Victoria’s Secret Angels will include returning favorites Adriana Lima, Alessandra Ambrosio, Lily Aldridge, Elsa Hosk, Jasmine Tookes, Josephine Skriver, Lais Ribeiro, Martha Hunt, Romee Strijd, Sara Sampaio, Stella Maxwell, Taylor Hill, as well as new faces.
‘Merging fashion, fantasy and entertainment, the lingerie runway show will include pink-carpet interviews, model profiles, a behind-the-scenes look at the making of the show in the City of Lights and musical performances that will be announced at a later date,’ a press release said.
More recently the VS squad flew to Paris to shoot the annual holiday commercial together so its no surprise entirely to see them return there. Directed by Hamish Hamilton, the show will be filmed in November and will be broadcast on Dec. 5, 2016, on CBS at 10 p.m. ET.
