Kate Moss Launches Her Own Modelling Agency
Kate Moss has launched her own modelling agency.
After leaving Storm Models after 28 years in April this year, the iconic supermodel founded Kate Moss Agency with her lifelong booking agent, Lucy Baxter. Moss serves as CEO of the talent firm which represents a range of talent, starting with models with a little something extra to offer but eventually expanding to singers, actors and dancers.
‘I want to focus more on managing people’s careers than just [running] a modelling agency. I don’t really want pretty people, I want people that want to sing and dance and act – I want to create stars,’ she told BoF.
‘It’s more of a management company with creative people, but we’ll be working with them as models,’ Camilla Johnson-Hill, the agency’s brand and business manager added.
The agency which is now accepting applications on Instagram signed Elfie Reigate, the daughter of model and friend-of-Moss Rosemary Ferguson. The 16 year old who just walked in her debut show for Alexander McQueen landed herself a campaign with the brand. While the second model is Louis Baines, formerly with Select and has a campaign for Topman under his belt.
If Moss’s first two signees are anything to go by we’re pretty confident her agency will soon make stars of several young up and coming models .
