Kate Moss Stars in Charlotte Tilbury’s Virtual Reality Perfume Campaign
Kate Moss is the face of Charlotte Tilbury’s debut fragrance ‘Scent of a Dream’.
The iconic supermodel appears in a spectacular virtual reality video which was imagined by acclaimed artist and director, Antoine Wagner – a descendant of German composer Richard Wagner and shot by award-winning director, Baillie Walsh.
In the two-minute-long spot, Moss sports a glittering dress designed by Peter Dundas for Roberto Cavalli, styling was by George Cortina while make-up was by Charlotte Tilbury herself. Playing the part of a celestial guide, Moss takes the viewer through a sparkling expanse of space, glittering galaxies and undulating universes of possibilities while conveying the way that the ‘Scent of a Dream’ is a portal for love, light, power, positivity and sex.
‘Kate Moss is so beguiling and she has an incredibly powerful aura- she’s sexy, she’s beautiful and that love of life just emanates from her,’ said Charlotte Tilbury in an interview with the British Telegraph. ‘When she walks into a room she is literally able to change the frequency of that room. I’ve seen her on so many occasions. And you know, she walks in and she has this hypnotic power. For me not only does she have one of the most beautiful faces in the world but she really kind of has that same energy I would really want to elicit in the scent. There was no other person for me who would be able to understand that or create that.’
The spot is viewable on a host of VR headsets including Samsung Gear and Google Cardboard, while mobile and desktop users can access a bespoke version of the experience via the Facebook and YouTube apps.
