Alexa Chung Fronts AG Jeans’ FW16 Ad Campaign
Alexa Chung is the face of AG Jeans’ Fall/Winter 2016 Ad Campaign.
Having designed two collections for the label, the London it-girl reunited with the luxury denim brand, replacing Ukrainian-Canadian model Daria Werbowy who fronted it’s campaigns for the past four seasons. Chung will represent the label for one year, covering two seasons starting with the autumn campaign 2016. ‘I guess she missed me as much as I missed them,’ she said in a statement.
The 32-year-old took to Instagram to share an image from the campaign with the caption; ‘If I look happy in this photo, it’s because I am thrilled to have been asked to star in @agjeans fall/winter campaign shot by @theo123456. It was as easy to work with them again as throwing on your favourite pair of jeans. Glad watching ANTM taught me how to smize for moments like these.’
Lensed by Theo Wenner, Chung strikes a pose in the streets of New York and at home modeling the collection of collared denim jackets, long flares, silky pajama tops and jeans that is said to have been influenced by the Spirit of the 60’s.
Commenting on their partnership Johnathan Crocker, AG’s VP Global Communications said; ‘We are incredibly excited to be working with Alexa again. At the risk of sounding cliche, there’s really no one quite like her. Trying to define what makes her so unique is close to impossible, but that’s ultimately her appeal, and why we’re thrilled to be continuing our partnership.’
