Meet Our July 2016 Model Of The Month: Kim Jaspers
Dutch fashion model and blogger Kim Jaspers is our Model Of The Month for July 2016.
The bold and sunshine-bright beauty started modeling when she was only fourteen. She never thought of being a model but was scouted when her niece (who is a photographer) sent some pictures to an agency and they invited her to come and a few weeks later she signed her first contract. ‘I never thought of being a model until I was scouted several times when I was on holidays. So that’s why I was like, yeah let’s give it a try!,’ she tells us.
Kim took a three year break because she wanted to study but started again one year ago. The 21 year old is well known by Giorgio Armani and his team after walking his shows six times. She has worked for many cool brands: Hermes, Armani, Hogan, Dries van Noten, Drykorn and Supertrash to name a few and has also appeared in magazines such as ELLE, Marie Claire, Harpers Bazaar, Grazia and Glamour.
A self proclaimed socialite, Kim says that the most exciting aspect of being a model is the element of surprise that each day brings adding, ‘Every single day is a surprise. One day you think you’re free for the whole week and the day after you might be packing your bags for a huge job in Paris.’
In addition to modeling Kim loves to write and is also a fashion blogger and runs her own blog We Heart Fashion with her sister Kelly. The blog is a fashion platform for all kind of posts, street style, trend-updates and lifestyle. Kim also shares weekly diaries about her modeling work on the blog.
With her pretty poise and brilliance, she considers Isabel Marant as her favorite Designer and hopes in ten years to have her masters degree in International Business and working in a big international company. Given her energetic personality, positive outlook, and infectious mix of humor and positivity, The Dutch native is sure to be a designer’s dream this season as she makes use of her versatile look.
