Karlie Kloss and Gigi Hadid star in new Versace fashion film
Karlie Kloss and Gigi Hadid star in black and white film entitled ‘Chicago is My Beat’ for the Fall/Winter campaign of Versace.
Shot by photographer Bruce Weber in Chicago, 1:31-minute long artistic short film has Hadid 21, and Kloss 23, discovering the art scene as well as music and dance landscape of Chicago. Both models pose arm in arm after shopping in a store and appear alongside male models and children.
Combined with urban scenes and studio recordings, the fashion film showcases the beauty of Chicago, which is dominated by its monumental Art Deco architecture as well as its energetic residents.
Versace recently came under fire for the campaign for casting models who were ‘too young’ to represent motherhood but Donatella Versace defended her decision to feature Hadid and Kloss.
