Cara Delevingne bares nude for an amazing cause
Cara Delevingne has posed nude for an amazing cause.
The actress and model is the face of the inaugural I’m Not a Trophy international campaign, a global initiative aimed at bringing awareness to the malicious acts of trophy hunting and poaching of endangered species.
In the portraits shot by French artist and photographer Arno Elias, Delevingne appears nude with colorful images of endangered animals printed on her skin. ‘I plan on being very hands-on with the organization and will do whatever I can to help create awareness for the tragic poaching and trophy hunting that is occurring in Africa. I am extremely passionate about animals and am so honored to be representing an organization and cause that is fighting for the rights of these innocent lives,’ Delevingne said of the campaign.
Delevingne says she was introduced to Arno’s work through friend and fellow model, Suki Waterhouse. The campaign also aims to empower women which Delevinge strongly favors. ‘I wanted to highlight women as powerful figures within our society,’ she said. ‘Much like the species that are trophy hunted and displayed as prizes, women are often seen as possessions. It’s time for our society to end the treatment of humans and animals as trophies.’
