Ruby Rose defends throwing fries at new orleans bartender
Ruby Rose took to social media to set the rumors straight about the incident that took place on Friday the 13th.
The ‘Orange is the New Black’ actress was reportedly kicked out of New Orleans restaurant Rebellion Bar and Urban Kitchen for throwing fries at a bartender. The owner of the Rebellion Bar and Urban Kitchen told NOLA.com that ‘He thought maybe it was an accident, so he came back and he asked, ‘Is everything OK?’ And she picked up a handful of french fries and threw them at him,’ he explained. ‘She was having like a tantrum. She was awful’
In a post on Instagram Rose came to her own defense saying ‘I don’t usually respond to nasty articles but it hurt my heart to think people would ever think I’d be rude to a server,’ while in a lengthy Facebook post she insisted that the bartender was very rude and made derogatory jokes about her sobriety. ‘He then made some really rude and vulgar comments to the table,’ Rose said. ‘When someone makes repeated derogatory jokes about the sobriety I worked so hard to achieve, it’s hard not to react emotionally. So I threw a singular fry at him.’
