Behati Prinsloo Turns Designer For Juicy Couture
Behati Prinsloo has added a new role to her impressive resume, that of fashion designer.
The model who is pregnant with her first child teamed up with Juicy Couture to create her first collection for its Black Label. From graphic tees and bomber jackets to Bermuda shorts and hoodies the range reflects Prinsloo’s laid-back rock-inspired style with the Juicy Couture aesthetic.
Prinsloo’s collaboration follows her working with the company for several years as a spokesperson and ambassador.
‘Juicy Couture is so iconic so I wanted to bring a little bit of something different to the brand while still remaining true to who they are,’ the Victoria’s Secret model told Teen Vogue. ‘This collection is really for any active girl who wants to throw on an outfit that’s comfy yet cute. I travel so much so I wanted to create pieces that were really comfy but with a fashionable twist. I was inspired by the vibes and colors from Seventies roller-skate and skateboard culture just stuff that’s really fun and easy.’
The collection will go on sale on 15 April.
