Gemma Ward fronts new Free people campaign
Gemma Ward is the star of the new Free-people campaign for a feature called ‘Blue Mountain Baby’ from its ‘Australia Issue’ March catalogue.
Lensed by Greg Kadel in her homeland, the Australian supermodel sports various easy summer looks from the bohemian fashion brand, ranging from various strapless tops and dresses with embroidery and ruffles to light T-shirts and maxi-length skirts with airy silhouettes.
In one image, Ward appears sitting in the grass against a sunny deserted landscape sporting a strapless dress with long sleeves. Free People shared a behind-the-scenes image of the campaign via its Instagram account while Ward had also teased her collaboration a few weeks ago via Instagram when she shared a snapshot of the shooting. ‘I had a great time shooting with you, thank you!’, she wrote, referring to the label. At present, Ward is having quite a year having landed the Vogue Australia January cover, a Givenchy campaign and Calvin Klein menswear runway appearance.
