Josephine Skriver is named a Victoria’s Secret Angel
Danish model Josephine Skriver has officially been given wings by Victoria’s Secret.
For the 22-year-old, it is indeed a dream come true, having walked for the past three consecutive Victoria’s Secret shows and modeling in recent years for the brand’s catalogues. Skriver posted the news on Instagram with two snapshots of herself, the first of which was:’It’s has happened!! I’m literally living my dream right now! Can’t believe I get to share with you today that I’m #NewestAngel for @victoriassecret thanks to everyone that has helped to get me here! So humble and proud to be apart of such an amazing legacy!! THAAAAANK YOU from the bottom of my heart to everyone who believed in me!! @ed_razek.’

Skriver follows in the footsteps of Alessandra Ambrosio and Adriana Lima and is the first new signing for 2016 by the lingerie label. She previously missed out on being one of last year’s 10 new Angels: Kate Grigorieva, Stella Maxwell, Martha Hunt, Taylor Hill, Jasmine Tooke, Jac Jagaciak, Romee Strijd, Lais Ribeiro, Elsa Hosk and Sara Sampaio.
