Gigi Hadid Wins MasterChef Celebrity Showdown
Gigi Hadid impressed restauranteur and chef Gordon Ramsay and pastry chef Christina Tosi to win the Celebrity Showdown.
Hadid, who competed against friend and fellow Victoria’s Secret Angel, Devon Windsor in the two-hour Fox television special prepared a beef burger with pickled jalapenos accompanied by a spiced crispy onion nest with potatoes, while for her part, Devon put together spaghetti with grilled shrimp in a white wine sauce accompanied with parmesan crostini.
‘The first year I lived in New York I tried a different burger every week to find my favorite burger in New York,’ Gigi said speaking of the depth of research she had done on burgers. ‘I always say, eat clean to stay fit, have a burger to stay sane.’
And it was all for a good cause as Gigi Hadid raised $25,000 for The Global Lyme Alliance, which helps bring awareness and research for Lyme disease, which her mom, sister Bella, and brother all suffer from.
