Charlotte Olympia and Agent Provocateur Collaborate on Capsule Lingerie Collection
Shoe designer Charlotte Olympia Dellal has collaborated with lingerie label Agent Provocateur to create a limited edition capsule collection.
Designed by Dellal and inspired by the Hollywood of the 50’s, the golden age of American cinema and imaging of the pin-up, the capsule collection is made up of three lingerie sets, and three shoe styles. It marks the first lingerie collection for the edgy, high-glamour British shoe and accessory brand. While the label has worked with the British underwear brand before, creating two shoe styles for a collaboration in 2012 it marks Dellal’s first foray into lingerie.
‘I have always loved lingerie, and when I first started to study fashion design I was very interested in corsetry,’ Dellal told Vogue.com. ‘I’ve have been collecting Agent Provocateur’s beautiful lingerie for years. I almost have more lingerie than shoes! Both brands share similar sensibilities – we’re feminine, playful and love glamour.’
Modeling the new collection is the beautiful Julia Restoin-Roitfeld, channeling Marilyn Monroe in a series of black and white images lensed by Bilal Taright.
‘This is now our second collaboration with Charlotte Olympia, and it is always so easy and fun,’ Agent Provocateur creative director Sarah Shotton told Vogue. ‘We’ve tried to make the pieces combine the best of both brands: Agent Provocateur’s signature designs and Charlotte’s iconic prints and details, creating a sexy yet playful lingerie collection.’
The entire collection is available at Agent Provocateur and Net-a-Porter.com, while shoes sell in shops at Charlotte Olympia.
