Lily Aldridge, Joan Smalls and Gigi Hadid Go Nude For Stuart Weitzman Spring 2016 Campaign
Lily Aldridge, Joan Smalls and Gigi Hadid have stripped down for luxury shoe brand Stuart Weitzman.
The trio was captured by famed fashion photographer Mario Testino for Weitzman’s new Spring 2016 ad campaign, wearing nothing but a pair of Stuart Weitzman heels.
Hadid shared a sneak peek on Instagram, captioning the photo, ‘So excited to be a part of the @StuartWeitzman SS16 campaign with @lilyaldridge and @joansmalls – shot by @mariotestino. Best shoes, best tea, best day – clearly NOTHING else is needed 😉 xx #inourshoes’.
According to a press release from the shoe company, the campaign shows the ‘intimate relationship between a woman and her shoes,’ with Weitzman adding that the models were chosen as the new faces of the label because of their ‘social relevance and fashion-forward trendsetter statuses’.
The stunning black-and-white image is similar to Herb Ritts’ famous photo taken in 1989 of legendary models Cindy Crawford, Naomi Campbell, Stephanie Seymour, Christy Turlington and Tatjana Patitz. The international advertising campaign will launch in the United States, Italy, France, England, Dubai, Germany, Spain and Asia.
