Irina Shayk Is the New Face of L’Oreal Paris
Russian supermodel Irina Shayk has been snapped up by L’Oreal Paris to be their new international ambassador.
The 29-year-old stunner joins its roster of super stars including including Blake Lively, Julianne Moore, Doutzen Kroes, Karlie Kloss, Julianne Moore, Naomi Watts and more.
Shayk announced the news on her Instagram page stating, “It’s such an honor to be a L’Oreal Paris ambassador and to be among such a powerful, smart, hardworking and extraordinary group of diverse women,… My personal memories of the brand go way back to the time when I was a teenager. L’Oreal make-up felt like a real luxury for me and I remember dreaming of purchasing a L’Oreal lipstick.” She thanked her longtime manager, Ali Kavoussi, as well as Cyril Chapuy, the president of L’Oreal Paris. “There are some moments you will never forget, and I want to thank @chapuyc and the wonderful L’Oreal team from the bottom of my heart for what they’ve given me, and the beauty their brand inspires in so many hearts Not to mention, my everything @alikavoussi.. Thank you for fighting for me since day 1, and always believing in me through the good and bad…Now let the good times and selfies begin!! Love Iri xx,” she wrote.
In an announcement on Instagram, the L’Oreal Paris team extended Shayk a warm “welcome to the lorealista dream team.” L’Oreal’s President Cyril Chapuy also shared a celebratory post, “Welcome @irinashayk to the #lorealista family. So happy to finally have you in the team!” The brand also posted a fun video of Irina, revealing five things you definitely didn’t know about her.
Irina who is currently dating Bradley Cooper has also modeled for brands including Victoria’s Secret, Guess, Avon, Bebe and Intimissimi.
