Gigi Hadid Cast In 2015 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show
It’s official: Gigi Hadid will be walking in the 2015 Victoria’s Secret fashion show.
The 20-year-old beauty was announced by Victoria’s Secret yesterday evening, with a clip from her casting audition. “We (love) surprises so here’s a BIG one for @GiGiHadid at the #VSFashionShow castings!” Victoria’s Secret tweeted, “See you on the runway, Gigi.” In the video, Gigi struts her stuff after which Ed Razek, the executive producer of the show asks her to join the team.
Gigi could not contain her excitement and shared the exciting news with a screengrab from the casting clip on Instagram stating, “Anyone that grew up w/me knows that this show has been a dream of mine 4ever! THANK U VS & Ed! Brought me to tears.”
The announcement is indeed a dream come true for Hadid who has previously worked with VS for it’s sister label PINK. She joins the likes of 5 veteran angels (Adriana Lima, Alessandra Ambrosio, Behati Prinsloo, Candice Swanepoel, Lily Aldridge) and 10 new Angels (Stella Maxwell, Kate Grigorieva, Taylor Hill, Elsa Hosk, Martha Hunt, Jac Jagaciak, Lais Ribeiro, Sara Sampaio, Romee Strijd, Jasmine Tookes). The iconic show will air on Dec. 8 on CBS and 180 countries from around the world.
