Daniel Craig Is GQ Australia’s November Cover Star
British actor Daniel Craig fronts the James Bond inspired November issue of GQ Australia.
Photographed by Rankin, the 47 year old star of ‘Spectre’ who knows his business looks sharp in a series of images that promote the film. In his interview with the glossy Craig spoke about working with director Sam Mendes, what it is like to live the ultimate male fantasy and muses on what’s next for the best ever Bond.
Discussing his portrayal of the iconic James Bond character, Craig shared, “When I first started these movies I didn’t know any better-I was naive and didn’t worry about a great deal, I just got on with it… As they went on, the pressure built. People thought Casino would bomb, it was a massive success and they were like, ‘What are you going to do now?’ Quantum, OK, it was difficult and a huge amount of pressure, but then Skyfall, again, ‘what are you going to do now?’ Well, we got Sam (Mendes, director) on board and it suddenly became a bit easier…” he continued.
Craig was also on the cover for British GQ’s November 2015 issue alongside new bond babe Monica Bellucci and GQ France’s November 2015 issue, both photographed by Rankin.
Directed by Sam Mendes, SPECTRE marks Craig’s fourth appearance as the famous British spy. The film also stars Ralph Fiennes, Ben Whishaw, Naomie Harris, Rory Kinnear, Christoph Waltz and Monica Bellucci. The film will have its world premiere in London on 26 October 2015 with a worldwide release on 6 November 2015.
