Anniken Naes Kullebund is our Model Of The Month for October 2015.
The 19-year-old Norwegian beauty never had dreams of being a model but was discovered by coincidence at 16, when a photographer walked into a cafe and asked her to join in on a commercial. She was shortly after introduced to a modeling agency and began modeling for Starlet modeling agency in Norway. Earlier this year Anniken has starred in a nordic short film ‘Into Wilderness’ about two lovers who leave everything behind to live a secluded life along the west coast of Norway. The film was selected in 2014 during the Milan Fashion Film Festival as one of the best (Fashion) Short Films.
In an exclusive interview with the FMD, Anniken spoke about her ambitions, the fashion scene and what it takes to be a model.
On whether she is inspired by other models: Yes, they do, especially in my mother agency Starlet. We are like a small family where we can talk about everything and help each other out. I become very happy whenever one of the girls are doing great, as this motivates me to work even harder.
On her best beauty secrets: Drink plenty of water and sleep around 9-10 hours each night! This will not only make you feel better, but also make you look fresh.
On where she sees herself in ten years: I hope that I am a psychologist by then, maybe working on an album or still making music. At least I would like to stay creative and keep my inner child alive even though I am growing older.
