Chrissy Teigen is pregnant
Chrissy Teigen and John Legend are expecting their first child.
The 29-year-old model and the 36-year-old musician announced the news on Instagram on Monday, by posting a black-and-white photo of themselves with the caption: “We’re pregnant!”
“John and I are so happy to announce that we are pregnant,” Teigen said. “As many of you know, we’ve been trying to have a baby for a while now. It hasn’t been easy, but we kept trying because we can’t wait to bring our first child into the world and grow our family. We’re so excited that it’s finally happening. Thank you for all your love and well wishes. I look forward to all the belly touching!”
The couple recently moved to Los Angeles, where Chrissy serves as host of the ABC talk series The Fab Life. In recent weeks while appearing on an episode of her show alongside Tyra Banks, she opened up about Fertility issues in emotional discussion revealing how she had been trying to get pregnant for years, but it didn’t happen, and she had been seeing specialists. “Every single time I sit down for an interview with anybody…I will say, just being two years into being married, the questions just come from all over,” Teigen said, “It’s kind of crazy because I can’t imagine being that nosy to be like, ‘So, when are the kids coming?’ because who knows what somebody’s going through.”
Teigen and Legend who have been married since September 2013, opened up about their marriage, plans for the future and having babies, earlier this year in the Summer issue of Dujour Magazine. “We want a lot of kids. I would love to have three or four of my own, and then adopt a few. So basically I’ll be pregnant the rest of my life,” Teigen said.
