Cara Delevingne launches a Twitter rant against the paparazzi
British actress and model, Cara Delevingne launched a Twitter rant on Tuesday after being mobbed by paparazzi while in Milan promoting her Mango campaign with Kate Moss.
In a series of angry tweets, the 23-year-old star of Paper Towns expressed her frustration with being followed daily by a swarm of photographers insisting a line must be drawn somewhere. “The paparazzi only get worse! I am not complaining but I just find it sad that I can’t live in my own city for that reason. Also to the guys in Milan! I only cover my face when you are rude to me, please do not make me feel like a zoo animal,” she tweeted. “I was excited to be in Milan but now I have a feeling you are going to ruin my trip.”
Delevingne then continued with a few ‘nicer’ tweets that turned into sarcastically funny threats,“If only I could make you feel the way you make me feel, I just hope that outside of this, you are able to feel empathy for others. If not then I feel truly sorry for you,” she continued. “One day when I have time, I will find out where you live and camp outside your house with my friends armed with cameras, then let’s see who is laughing. Sorry guys, rant over. I hope you all had a great day. If I wasn’t able to vent to you guys, these situations would probably end in violence.”
Cara’s next tweet : “I refuse to let these grown men treat people like objects with no feelings and get away with it, I will never be silent,” was Favorited more than 21,000 times and was supported by Kendall Jenner, who wrote “preachhhh”. After her Twitter rant, she took to Instagram to post a sexy half naked picture of herself taken by fellow model Kate Moss.
Way to go girl.
Cara is set to appear in Pan, which releases in the UK on October 16.
