LaFormela S/S16 Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Prague
The brand LaFormela is an outcome of the collaboration of the Czech-Slovak trio – Antonin Soukop , Miroslava Kohutiarova and Katarina Ravasova. The brand became very famous and appreciated by connoisseurs during the last couple of years. They won the most prestigious Czech Grand Design Award prize in 2014 and are on their way to gain more in the nearest future. Their style is avant-garde and slightly underground,however, still distincly feminine. They reach for certain elements that they aim to transform within the intentions of their well-known aesthetics.
The show they presented at the Mystic Skatepark on the 5th of September 2015 was full of fashion surprises.’ The attraction and tension between opposites is a fascinating symbiosis. Fight changes into harmony and endless surprises are opening new horizons.’ So the collection fuses black and colours , shine and mat and reminds of fairies. The trio counts on the quality of fabrics – sheer , satin and silk. The prints look more contemporary and give a hint of art to the whole concept.
The color palette varies , however the majority of outfits are black with the yellow elements.
The key silhouettes collaborate with the newest trends – underlined waistline , long skirts with the cut-out detail at the front , 70’s inspired armholes and maxi dresses. Ultimate sexiness.
