Kate Moss Splits From Husband Jamie Hince
Supermodel Kate Moss and her musician husband Jamie Hince have split after four years of marriage.
Speculation about the end of their marriage started in recent months when the couple weren’t pictured together since they attended a charity gala in Sao Paulo, Brazil, in May. Rumors of the pair’s split only came to light last week and is said to have occurred last month with the couple having spent apart their fourth wedding anniversary on July 1 and are said to have been arguing over Jamie’s close friendship with singer and model Lady Mary Charteris.
Days later Hince, who is touring the States with his band The Kills was seen snuggling up to Canadian model Jessica Stam outside a Hollywood nightclub. In exclusive photographs printed by The Sun newspaper, the 29-year-old Jessica appears to stroke The Kills rocker’s face, while another sees her with her head on his shoulder while the pair stand on the street outside Kibitz Room bar in West Hollywood. Onlookers told The Sun: “Jamie was carefree and in great form. Jessica made straight for him and they appeared to be very close and friendly. The were very flirty with each other, very cuddly. She made sure they got close before she went home at the end of the night. Kate will be devastated to see Jamie moving on with a younger version of herself.”
Awkwardly, Jessica and Kate have worked together, having walked the catwalk at the Louis Vuitton Fall 2011 show at Paris Fashion Week.
Following the news, Moss is said to have cancelled a trip to Ibiza with Rita Ora and Nick Grimshaw for the BBC Radio 1 DJ’s event last weekend. Instead she went to Genoa, Italy with her daughter Lila and her father Jefferson Hack. A source revealed: “Kate is not in a great place at the moment and she couldn’t face a weekend of partying. She felt that all eyes would be on her and if she looked miserable it would get back to Jamie. To say she’s going through a difficult time would be an understatement.”
Moss and Hince started dating in autumn 2007 after being introduced by a mutual friend, shortly after Kate ended her turbulent engagement to troubled rocker Pete Doherty. They were married at St Peter’s Church in Southrop, Gloucestershire, in 2011 with a host of other stars in attendance.
Representatives for the 41-year-old supermodel and the 46-year-old guitarist of the indie rock band The Kills had no immediate remarks about the reports, made in the British media last week but the couple have been spotted in public separately still wearing their wedding rings.
