Lily Aldridge Fronts Carolina Herrera’s Fall 2015 Ad Campaign
Victoria’s Secret model Lily Aldridge is the Face of Carolina Herrera‘s Fall 2015 Campaign.
The gorgeous images were lensed by internationally renowned photographer Mario Testino, a longtime friend of Herrera, with Aldridge channeling the elegance that a Carolina-wearing woman evokes. Shot in a refined townhouse, the campaign emphasizes the importance of family and features an image of two couples with a wide-eyed baby reaching for a chic CH Carolina Herrera handbag.
According to designer, Carolina Herrera, Testino captures an authentic “fashionable” life, embracing style, whimsy and fun; with Supermodel Lily Aldridge evoking the familial warmth and vibrant spirit of the Latin heritage. ‘I’ve known Mario for decades and I’m thrilled we finally found the right moment to collaborate,’ she said in a release. ‘He has an inimitable eye and a shared sensibility.’
‘Doing the Carolina Herrera campaign is really exciting for me in this time in my life – it’s a world I know very well,’ explained Testino. ‘It’s a South American world coming to America bringing its culture, tradition, values and sense of family and chic. It’s how South Americans like to be dressed and present themselves, but the ethos really belongs to Carolina Herrera herself,’ he added.
This is Herrera’s first global campaign to feature all of the designer’s product categories including womenswear, menswear, handbags, fragrance and accessories for both the Carolina Herrera New York and CH Carolina Herrera labels. The campaign is slated to debut in September magazines.
