Alessandra Ambrosio shows off her bikini body in Brazil

Victoria’s Secret Angels such as Alessandra Ambrosio are not at all unfamiliar to showing off their enviably toned physiques before the eyes of a vast multitude of spectators during the American lingerie giant’s annual wing clad fashion shows. And the Brazilian top model kicked off the new week by treating her fellow countrymen to a much welcome eyeful as she turned the beach in Rio de Janeiro into her own personal runway.

It may be middle of the Winter season down in the southern half of the world, but the thirty four year old bombshell Alessandra Ambrosio has recently been spotted having some fun under the sun in her home country of Brazil, where she has been enjoying a family getaway for the past couple of weeks and documenting some of it in photos posted via her official Instagram account.

On Monday (the thirteenth day of July), Ambrosio was seen hitting the ocean waves alongside her six year old daughter Anja Mazur on top of a paddle board. The stunning mother of two was clad in a itsy bitsym teenie weenie swimsuit that surely had plenty of eyes glued in her direction as she soaked up the warm rays of Rio de Janeiro’s winter sun.

Wearing her dark brown tresses styled in to a wispy asymmetrical braid and under a grey baseball hat, the Erechim born beauty had donned her sun kissed statuesque frame in a two piece bikini that was designed by none other than herself. The skimpy turquoise number which was taken from her Ale by Alessandra Ambrosio line of swimwear featured spaghetti strings with gold metal details and was composed of a triangle cut top and a very cheeky bottom piece. She teamed the ensemble with a set of complementing chandelier earrings in matching color, some mirrored sunglasses, and a number of delicate bangles.

Meanwhile, little Anja, who made sure she was geared up with a life vest for her paddle board excursion out in to the sea, had on a criss cross backless one piece swimsuit that was printed with bohemian patterned stripes in an array of blues and green shades – likely also a creation by the fashion mannequin turned fashion designer (and actress).

Rewinding back a few days to Friday of the previous week (the tenth day of this month), Ambrosio was captured lounging about by the swimming pool in the company of her two young children, Anja and three year old Noah. On that occasion, the five foot, nine and a half inch tall beach babe had opted for a sexy one piece bikini from her own range which featured a tribal pattern colored in turquoise, orange and black. The cheeky garment flaunted the eye catching beauty’s flat abdominal area through a cutout at the center, and also showed off a substantial amount of skin from the back, where an intricate strappy feature could be seen.

But it has not quite been entirely off duty for Ambrosio back home in Brazil, since she has also down to business on national television, being given the opportunity to show off her actress credentials while filming a number of episodes of a popular Brazilian telenovela (soap opera). She gets to play the guest role of Samia in the Rede Globo production called Verdades Secretas. And there is absolutely no denying that her time in Brazil has done her well, as she has seemingly been embodying the quintessential girl from Ipanema rather flawlessly with each passing day.

Last month, Ambrosio was in charge of giving a feminine touch to Balmain‘s first ever held menswear runway spectacle. The strut queen took to the French capital’s catwalk and showcased two looks from the Parisian luxury fashion house’s safari themed Spring / Summer 2016 offering on the twenty seventh of June (a Saturday). With her brunette hair slicked back in to a wet style, the first of her looks consisted of a floor skimming brown frock and a set of gold and khaki earrings with dangling bones, while the second one was a long sleeved white mini dress with a black bone filled gold chain choker. Both of the head turning looks designed by Olivier Rousteing were made of intricately woven leather and were teamed with a pair of high heeled, caged gladiator style sandals.
