Coco Rocha Signed by IMG Models
Supermodel Coco Rocha has signed with IMG Models for worldwide representation.
The 26 year-old Canadian-born model who was previously represented by Wilhelmina Models, has signed with the firm who are ranked as the world’s number one international model management company.
A statement on IMG’s website reads ” In signing with IMG Models, Rocha extends her preexisting relationship with WME across the recently formed WME | IMG. WME has represented Rocha in television, commercials, books and speaking engagements since 2013.”
With a social media presence of over 16 million followers, Coco has positioned herself as one of the most digitally-savvy models in the world. In 2013 Time magazine named Coco’s twitter account one of the 140 best twitter feeds. Rocha published her first book, Study of Pose: 1,000 Poses by Coco Rocha, in 2014. Earlier this year, she partnered with Disney and HSN on a capsule collection to support their live-action Cinderella movie premiere and is also designing her own handbag collection for luxury brand Botkier which s expected to launch in the fall of 2015.
Rocha and her husband, artist James Conran, welcomed a daughter in March this year and named her Ioni James Conran.
News of Coco’s signing with IMG appeared first on WWD while Coco followed up with an image on Twitter of her herself holding a glass of champagne with the caption. ‘Pop the champagne, @WWD just broke the news I’m now rep’d by @IMGmodels | WME worldwide!’
IMG also announced signed singer Lily Allen on the announcement that she was made the face of Vero Moda earlier this year.
