Jourdan Dunn To Launch Clothing Range
British model Jourdan Dunn has revealed plans to develop her own clothing line for children and young adults.
Unlike her colleagues Cara Delevingne, Suki Waterhouse, Kate Moss who’ve teamed up with notable brands Dunn will be launching a new venture. Her modeling agency, Storm Model Management, confirmed a licensing deal between Dunn and Fluid World, an independent licensing agency best known for their work with the Hello Kitty brand in UK.
The range will be an extensive collection of jeans, jackets, basic T-shirts, leggings, jumpers and accessories. Dunn said : “I love kid’s clothes and have been obsessed with them ever since my son was born, through my career in fashion I have come to love and respect great design, and as a mum I also expect great quality and value for money, as well as the coolest clothes for my son, Riley. I am thrilled to be working with Fluid World, and I am looking forward to developing my own collection and turning my ideas into reality.”
“Jourdan Dunn is a fashion icon who sets trends and influences style,” Andrew Lane, CEO of Fluid World, added. “I am delighted to be working with her on this exciting project and bringing her cool urban style to a wider audience.”
Dunn’s five-year-old son Riley is a fashion fan, and features frequently on his mother’s instagram page. In August she became the first black British model to enter the Forbes model rich list while earlier this year becoming the first solo black model to star on the cover of British Vogue in 12 years.
