Alexa Chung runs errands in bulky ensemble

Alexa Chung has been busy lately promoting her newly-released denim collection both in the United Sates and in her native United Kingdom, and the British model-turned-fashion designer was spotted off-duty in New York City donned in a rather unconventional look.

The thirty-one year-old style icon, who is widely known for dressing her slender frame in slim-fit clothing, opted for the complete opposite when she braved the Big Apple’s winter chill on Wednesday (January 21st), hitting the streets after finding some time off her multifaceted duties to run a few personal errands the day after she launched her Alexa Chung for AG collection.

With her highlighted brown bob locks parted at the center and complementing her trademark laid-back style as usual, Chung was bundled up in a bulky coat that had a fuzzy tartan-like navy and white pattern, and a pair of relatively baggy denim jeans which were folded in cuffs at the bottom to reveal some knitted blue socks and a set of monochrome sneakers, completing the look with a black scarf and some brown-framed shades.
