Cara Delevingne fails to make new Models.com Top 50 list

Cara Delevingne is widely known for her appearances in major high fashion campaigns, magazines and runway spectacles, but despite a successful year and being mentioned for the first time by Forbes Magazine as one of the top earning models, the British stunner missed Models.com’s Top 50 Models list.

The twenty-two year-old beauty, who racked up 3.5 million dollars this year, according to Forbes’ list of highest-paid mannequins of 2014, also has one of the highest number of social media followers of any model – something Models.com’s Top 50 list also takes into account – but still failed to land a spot.

A reason for her absence may be that Delevingne is distancing herself from modeling and investing more time in her acting career, a profession she has made known is her true passion. She can be seen making a splash in the trailer for the upcoming fantasy adventure film “Pan,” in which she plays a mermaid.

“Mermazing! So excited for you to see the Pan trailer! It’s gonna be a wonderful movie 🎥❤️,” Delevingne said via her official Instagram account next to shared stills from the motion picture displaying a glimpse of her character.
