Kate Moss, Rosie HW and Naomi Campbell do the ice bucket challenge
Kate Moss, Rosie Huntington Whiteley and Naomi Campbell are just few of the latest celebs who have taken the challenge to raise funds and awareness for nerve cell disease Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS).
Following up on her nomination from fashion photographer Mario Tiestino, Kate Moss took time out from her vacation with family and friends in St Tropez to take part in the ALS ice bucket challenge. The 40-year-old was seen wearing a tiny black bikini and chose to get doused by SIX beer ice buckets. The trendsetter went on to nominate her fellow holiday maker, actress Liv Tyler, Hollywood actor Jack Nicholson and radio presenter Nick Grishaw.
On the other hand, Iconic model Naomi Campbell also took part in the charity challenge in a very “Hot” way after being nominated by F1 ace Lewis Hamilton. Laying off in yacht the supermodel is seen flaunting her figure in a bikini and ordering her friends to “Splash” her. Before being doused she nominated Allegra Versace, Michael Fassbender and Giuseppe Cipriani.
Rosie Huntington Whiteley also stepped up to the challenge. The blonde beauty sported polka dot bikini bottoms and a black vest, as she had the freezing ice water poured over her. She nominated photographer Guy Aroch, Violet Gre, stylist Cher Coulter, and beauty emporium owner Cassandra Grey.
The fashion fraternity seems to have all jumped on the bandwagon for the trending social media phenomenon as earlier this week, Cindy Crawford, Christy Turlington, Anne V, and Isabeli Fontana all joined in the noble cause. Even Anna Wintour shocked fans worldwide after she accepted the nomination from her daughter, Bee Shaffer.
The Ice Bucket challenge has raised $41 million according to the new york times.
